Fire officials in La Crosse are continuing to investigate a Saturday blaze that destroyed the regional offices of We Are Wisconsin, a union political action committee (PAC) that has pumped millions of dollars into supporting Democratic candidates in the upcoming recall elections.

The La Crosse Tribune reports that the cause of the fire, which started at about 9:30 a.m., remains unknown. Firefighters thought they had the blaze under control in the afternoon, however, that wasn't the case and it continued into the evening, the newspaper reported.

I hope the investigators are not republicans. If they are, you know the investigation will be skewed. Something stinks real bad in Wisconsin, and now the republicans know their time is up. The problem is they don't lose like gentlemen, they cheat, they lie, they manipulate all in the name of wealth and power.

Where is the FBI and Homeland Security when needed? Oh, I forgot, there's NO reports that Muslims or Blacks were involved! The Reich Wing marches on...

Anyone but me notice, these acts of terrorism are ALWAYS perpetrated against those in opposition to the Right Wing; never the other way around. But we must wait for the investigation to conclude, before placing blame? Like waiting for the Nazi 3rd Reich to slaughter Millions before declaring them evil, and committing Crimes against Humanity!

The silver lining in this 'act of terrorism', is that the 'Terrorist' must be losing the political battle. And are doing what terrorist always do in these situations, result to violence;and/or, threats of violence. And please don't forget those empty bullet shell casings found on the state capital grounds; at the height of the demonstrations against Gov Walker and the Republicans.

Keep on keeping on Wisconsin. You're winning this thing. Please use this INCIDENT as the glue that BINDS... Alas,"there's nothing to fear-but fear itself": Represent your nick-name, the BADGERS! The best way to deal with BULLIES, is to stand-up to them. Vote them out and pass the baton to the rest of the nation...this goose-stepping has to stop in the land of the FREE, and YOU are leading the way...

Ten days before the recall election, this does seem a bit suspicious.

Wisconsin GOP has been watching a little too much Goodfellas.

Re-Pub or Krat, they will both do it. Find them guilty and give them their 10 for arson. If they have overseas fellows, then send them to Guantanamo.

Suspicion abounds. The GOP have proven their willingness to lie, cheat, threat...even justify...murder (like the Kansas doctor). nor do they rail against any criminal behavior to advance their end (ideological goals) in their rhetoric, so there is nothing that makes me think this is other than a "hit" job.

I think you are all overreacting. So far there is no evidence the GOP had anything to do with this.

    2Black2BeABirther,

and don't forget a crazy teapartier who loved Sarah Palin gunned down Gabby Gifford. Remember how that turned out to be false? If we keep jumping the gun and accusing the crazies for something that turns out not to be true, we will just be giving them the ammunition to play the victim. They may actually have nothing to do with this. We can't keep pointing fingers every time the wind blows. So I say give them the benefit of doubt, until evidence shows otherwise.

      "there's no evidence the GOP..."

Or, as Bush/Cheney would say,"the evidence is classified"ie... can not be released at this time...LOL. I never heard that term used so much as with those shyters: "The Country's national security is at stake"...now that part is very true, but not as meant to be conveyed!

We have recently learned that the GOP had hackers waiting in the wings of the 2004 presidential election and handed election to GWB in Ohio making sure George W won. Remember the war in Iraq was raging and going badly. The irregularities that occurred in Ohio are currently/still under investigation. Taxpayers received a hefty tab.

      yes Bummer , suspicious ...

it's not like they haven't committed acts of violence to push their agenda before. cutting gas lines , throwing bricks through windows , even carving a B in ones own face and blaming it on a made up Obama supporter .

while the left is not innocent. the record of violence carried out by the right far outweighs the left.

as for the Giffords shooter in their list ... I wouldn't list it right or left since he seems to hold beliefs that belong to both parties.

Hey, it's not too hard to figure out. The right wing just reassigned an abortion clinic bomber to a new target.

Seriously people, what the hell has to happen before we realize we have a real problem in this country with right wing crazies?

This screams for an in-dept investigation perhaps involving the FBI.
